Welcome to Kevin Adams Photography, Writing, Teaching!
This is the premier source for exceptional photographs,
outdoor writing, and photography instruction in North
Carolina. I travel the world, but the Tarheel State and
surrounding region is my specialty. Besides traditional
nature and landscape photography, I enjoy wildlife
photography and astrophotography. I also love to
photograph non-nature subjects such as cityscapes,
architecture, and historic sites. In addition to
shooting stock photos, I regularly work on editorial and
commercial photography assignments.
I enjoy teaching others how to take pictures through
photo tours, workshops, and lectures. I began leading
North Carolina waterfalls photo tours in the early
1990s. I’ve written and photographed nine nature and
outdoor books, with more on the way. In addition to
books, I regularly write articles for travel, regional,
nature, and photography magazines.
