More Light Streaks In New York

New York's Flat Iron Building at night

New York's Flat Iron Building on a rainy night. Nikon D800, Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 lens, f/16, 30 seconds, ISO 100. This is a stack of 3 exposures to increase the car light streaks. F/16 not needed for depth of field, but I used it to get the starburst effect in the street lights.

After I finished shooting on Mulberry Street, I walked to another favorite New York location, Madison Square Park. There’s a tiny island in the street where you can stand in front of a planter and get a great view of the Flat Iron Building with cars streaking by. By the time I got there, it had started raining and the wet streets reflected the lights beautifully.
