Nightly Night Photography Notes–Online Photo Classes

Post Update: I am no longer making Nightly Night Photography Notes posts on this blog. Instead, I am providing regular night photography news updates through the Night Photography News eNewsletter. Signing up is free and easy. Simply click the link, enter your email address, and choose Night Photography News from the list choices.

Want to learn how to do it in the dark while sitting at your computer?

Hmm, now that I think about it, that didn’t come out sounding quite right. Let’s try again.

Would you like to learn how to take pictures at night through an online course, where you can learn at your own pace? My next “Photography After Dark” class with the Perfect Picture School of Photography begins this Friday, January 6. It’s a great way to learn how to photograph all kinds of night photo subjects. My friend Donna Eaton assists me with the class. Donna also teaches a class on composition with PPSOP, in which I am her assistant. Would love to have you join us!

Nightly Night Photography Notes is a nightly (almost) nutshell of photo news and tidbits for night photographers. If I’m not out in the wilds creating night images, I’ll do my best to keep you updated nightly on what’s going on in the dark. I need your help, though. If you know about anything coming up that night photographers might like to know about, please let me know in an email and I’ll make a post about it. Please note that I live in western North Carolina, USA, so unless indicated otherwise, all discussions that are location and time specific are based on latitude 35 degrees north and Eastern Time Zone, which is -5 hours from UTC time (-4 hours during daylight saving time).
