Little Creek Falls

The book Waterfalls of the Smokies by Hal Hubbs, Charles Maynard, & David Morris does not even mention the Coopers Creek Road access to Little Creek Falls. I'm guessing that this access is now permanently closed to the public, although I can't say for sure. By the way, the photograph of Little Creek Falls in the book was taken by yours truly.

Little Creek Falls

Jeffrey Eling tried to visit Little Creek Falls on June 7 by accessing it from Coopers Creek Road, but found a "No Trespassing" sign along with some sort of construction in progress at the private driveway. He said he couldn't tell if this was something permanent or perhaps just temporary due to the construction. The access here has always been tenuous, so it would not be surprising if this is a permanent closure. Be prepared to turn around, and if you want to see the falls, access it the long way from Deep Creek Campground.
