Duggers Creek Falls

On Page 135 is Duggers Creek Falls. I've seen it spelled "Duggers" and "Duggars", but had no idea which one was correct. Since "Duggars" is the more frequent use, I went with that as the default spelling. Well, thanks to a brand new and neat little book I just purchased called River of Cliffs, A Linville Gorge Reader, I now know the scoop. Edited by local scholar Christopher Blake, the book is a collection of written accounts about Linville River Gorge covering a 300-year span. One narrative, a romance novel set in the Linville region, was authored by Shepherd M. Dugger in the 1890s. The creek, the waterfall, and the trail are named after him.
