Rainbow Falls on Mount Mitchell and other area falls

While doing research for a book project I have come across numerous historical waterfall photos. One of them is a 1916 photo by William A Barnhill that is captioned as Rainbow Falls on Mount Mitchell. I can't find any additional info about it. Another one is a 1925 photo by Robert L. Brown captioned as a waterfall on Long Branch. I suspect this is the Long Branch that flows into North Fork Swannanoa River upstream from Burnett Reservoir. Long Branch is within the Asheville Watershed, where access is strictly prohibited.
