Spring Creek Falls & Town Falls

On page 161 I mention Spring Creek Falls, a drop supposedly within the town limits of Hot Springs . The only references I have seen for this falls are historical; I can find no current information. Of possible relevance is a report in North Carolina Rivers & Creeks, by Leland Davis, describing a class IV+ rapid on Spring Creek called “Town Falls.” Perhaps they are one and the same. As best as I can tell from Davis’ description, Town Falls is about a mile upstream from downtown Hot Springs.
