Waterfalls Creek

On page 66 I write about Waterfalls Creek, just north of the Blue Ridge Parkway near Doughton Park. It flows through private property and I didn’t get an opportunity to fully investigate it, although I was pretty sure there was a least one waterfall on it. Rich got an email from someone talking about a few small falls and cascades on the creek. He also directed me to the web site for the Blue Ridge Rural Land Trust, which has this property listed as one of their projects. Hopefully, the property will be protected from development, although it still may remain off limits to the public.
