You’ll also explore Cherohala Scenic Skyway, waterfalls and cascades, and general landscape scenes. SKILL LEVEL

Open for all skill levels, but participants with a basic knowledge of the fundamentals will get the most out of this photo tour.

GENERAL ITINERARY

I do not establish a precise itinerary for photo tours ahead of time because I want to choose the subjects based on the weather and other conditions. We will meet in the afternoon of Wednesday, May 14. After orientation, I will give a program showing many of the subjects you’ll be shooting during the photo tour. We’ll have dinner as a group and have an evening photo session. On Thursday, we’ll be in the field all day, with a break before dinner. We’ll have lunch in the field (provided) and dinner will be together as a group. Saturday will be a repeat of Friday. On Sunday, we’ll go out for a final morning shoot.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

We won’t be doing anything overly strenuous, but the walk through Joyce Kilmer Forest is about 1.5 miles and rated moderate. Those in decent physical shape should have no problems, but if you’re not used to easy/moderate physical exertion for a full day you could struggle during this photo tour.

LODGING & TRANSPORTATION

Lodging is not included and you are free to stay wherever you like. However, it is recommended that you stay at our host hotel, where we will have our initial meeting and breakfasts. We will provide hotel info after you register. Transportation is included during the photo tour, but if you are staying at a different location, you’ll have to drive to and from the host hotel each day.

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT INFO
